Colony

I went to the west cliffs this afternoon, to set up our new trailcam, I hope it will be overlooking an area of puffin activity, but there are certainly fulmar nests in view.
Because the visitor season didn't open until May, many gulls are nesting in areas where they will encounter members of the public. It's starting to get a wee bit dicey crossing from the abbey up to the weather station, and I was glad of the golf umbrella that I use to protect myself from attacks!
