Floating

Took B for her cataract operation this morning. She was telling me that when she first started in nursing, these types of operation would require a 2 week stay in hospital. This morning she had anesthetic eye drops put in (which we waited an hour to take effect) and then the actual procedure took 15 minutes, a quick cup of coffee and we were ready to come home.  How things have changed!!
