Busy bee

I woke up early, and at 5.30am I considered going up to Bushy Park to see the sunrise and the deer but of course at that time it is too late, the sun was already high in the sky.

I spent the morning sorting my photos into various folders and editing photos from the flower show yesterday - none of them were great as there were just too many people getting in the way of where I wanted to take the photo from.

Our garden is starting to look pretty now, we have alliums bursting into bloom and some peonies too. I noticed the bees were busy too and managed to get a photo of this little one. It is very much a summer garden, then spends the rest of the year looking rather drab.
