Lawn scarifier

My back grass is usually very mossy, despite raking it 2 or 3 times a year but this year the moss was being hauled out for me. at first I thought it was the starlings, though they haven't done it before, but then we caught the magpie at it. The blackbirds come along after and take advantage of the lossening of the moss 
 We only got magpies toward the end of last summer, they have their uses (pity they don't leave it in tidy heaps to be picked up).
My house is a bit tidier than it was and I took the ladies' running group on a 10+k trail run in preparation for a race they're doing next month, they said they enjoyed it
