Just a wall

But a very interesting wall where more can be seen in extras. Our walking group had a tour of Topsham today with a voluntary guide from the museum which we visited afterwards. A very interesting town with lots of history has roman origins with Dutch influences very evident in many of the properties. The wall comprises a mix of many different materials including volcanic rock. To the left of the wall is another made of stone which was used as ballast brought in by barges on the river. The black building at the top was used as the abattoir. The second extra shows the colourful local buildings. A very interesting afternoon including yummy chocolate cake.
