'Twas the Night Before Christmas...

.. this used to be Alexandra's favourite Christmas story, and every year my husband had to read it to her.

The picture is of a new musical box, I bought for myself, I couldn't resist it. It's got everything, it lights up, a little train moves around inside and it plays 4 christmas carols.

Relatively quiet Christmas Eve. Went shopping at 8am, and the supermarket was already packed. But everyone seemed to be in a good mood so it wasn't too bad.

Spent the rest of the day pottering around, wrapping presents, and preparing food.

Alexandra got home about 7pm, so then we could have our dinner. Salad, coleslaw, prawns and french bread.
