Absolutely My Favorite Rose

This is a photo of my Double Delight rose; I love the fragrance and coloring. I cute two of the roses and brought them in the house; the fragrance has spread through my kitchen and family room......delightful. I set the vase at a height where Ellie can easily go and spell it......she loves it too.

Our strawberries are ripening.....it is an exciting time for me every year and this year I had someone just as excited to pick them as me. Ellie was my helper; she took the berries I picked to the basket. Then we came in and ate some of these super sweet strawberries. They are by far my favorite berry.

Tiffy, Ellie's family dog, is staying with us too......she is really pretty good, but today she decided to go into Ellie's room during nap time.....she is 15 years old so she took a nap too.....now all this seemed good and cute but......I think she may have waken Ellie up......I can't prove it, I wasn't watching the monitor......but Ellie seemed tired when she woke up. Hmmmmm......I wonder. Tomorrow the gate will go up so Tiffy stays away from her.  :-))  

Today was quite warm so it was nice spending a lot of time outside. We saw so many different birds while we were on our deck. The Goldfinch were plentiful, as well as the Juncos. There were hummingbirds, a pair of spotted Towhees, a pair of Black Headed Gross Beaks, Chick-a-dee and Nuthatches. I am quite content right here in my back yard.
