What a blessing it is to work in a place where the words 'colleague' and 'friend' are synonymous.  Today's weekly department meeting agenda was simply to eat cake for Erin's birthday.  My day progressed in similar joyful fashion, and, after watching the orchestra rehearsal for a while (first show is tomorrow), my day finished with a pot luck & fish grill party on Konak terrace with more neighbour colleague friends, including of course, the Birthday Girl.
