Stained glass stars

Star-shaped biscuits made with Heather this afternoon. They are part-baked, then you put boiled sweets into the hole, then pop them back in the oven for a bit. I liked the colours showing through on to the kitchen work top as they cool.

I discovered how hard it is to bash boiled sweets, I guess they are tougher than biscuits, which is the usual thing to bash into crumbs. We had bits flying everywhere, and that was when they were supposed to be in a bag to stop this happening!

Fun though, we'll eat them tomorrow!
