Japanese Maple

This Japanese Maple sits right next to our front door in Arnold. I have switched over completely to processing my photos in Capture One, and am very pleased with the speed and ease of use - highly recommended. This image was processed using a plug-in from Mastin Labs, that does a wonderful job of recreating the way images looked with some of the most popular Kodak film of yore. I generally follow Thorsten Overgaard's settings in Capture One, and find that I can process an image to my liking in around 30 seconds or less - if it takes more time, it is probably not an image Wirth fussing with, in my opinion. I would rather spend my time photographing than on my computer processing images.
