Lindisfarne

We have had a great day on Lindisfarne, managing to negotiate the tidal causeway successfully. We then decided to head back to Bamburgh to find the field with the purple flowers we had seen in the distance on our walk along the beach. They turned out to be a field full of red campions.

I am blipping from my phone as we head south. We are supposed to stay in Northumberland until Saturday, but I had a call from Moms care home when we were parked overlooking the beach. They said that they felt it was time for the family to go to see her if we wanted to. I have just spoken to my sister who is with Mom, watching and waiting. We hope to arrive by 22.30. What will be will be.
