€5.40 for a pint? Has Rathmines been developing notions of late? Of the pete-plus-haut-que-son-cul kind? (It's a French thing - the farts-higher-than-its-arse word for word translation does not do it justice). 

It kinda spoiled the taste for me. Well, the first three pints anyway. Then I quit. The Big Nose Club has opted to go for a more moderate approach of late. And at these criminal prices anyway, I wouldn't want to give Slattery's much more of my business.
