Talking to the Street Musicians

This still happens in Paris. Musicians pass and looking up, they wait for coins to be tossed from the balconies. There used to be many French organ grinders, some with monkeys or dogs bundled up under blanket on their chariots. Now, there are more Eastern Europeans playing trumpets, tubas and accordions. Sometimes with an amplifier blasting out the accompaniment!

Paris is, luckily, still Paris. :)

Here is a recording I made of a passing organ grinder on my street last Summer.: http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=36157

Enjoy. :)
