Where there's smoke, there's fire

We went for a walk to the food co-op and just a half block away there was a big fire happening. The assumption is that it is a kitchen fire from the bar at that address, and I haven't heard that anyone was injured. It was quite a spectacle, though - I've never seen so much noxious smoke or vehicles, or water being poured in so long from so many directions. We didn't stick around long, however, because the smoke was making my throat sore even though I was at least a block away.
