GREAT CRESTED GREBE.

Went a woodland walk this morning at 5.45am but did not get any thing to blip, so after lunch I took the dogs and we headed to the loch. Sunny, but golly, it was so windy, so much so that I could hardly hold the camera still, however I could not believe my luck as I walked along the edge of loch. The grass and reeds were almost up to my chest, suddenly I saw the Great Crested Grebe, but did not realise it was on a nest in the loch. It was on the lily pads. First time I have seen one so was thrilled to see it. It came off the nest briefly and my extra is the nest with the eggs. Only got one shot as it went straight back on the floating nest. Hope you like it.
