Hawthorn

I took a gentle stroll around the woods this morning but only caught a fleeting glimpse of a butterfly and baby Great Tit.

The hawthorn is still blossoming in the shady areas so that’s my blip for today. It looks almost 3D in large view.

Our to dinner tonight celebrating a close friend’s 70th birthday. They’ve nearly all caught up with me.

Also thinking of Hildasrose, who had to leave Northumberland yesterday to head back to see her mum who is very poorly.
