Hirsel

Today, some of the camera group had a ride out to The Hirsel, at Coldstream: formerly the home of Sir Alec Douglas Home, and still the family residence. 2 of us went into the woods to look at the rhododendrons and azaleas, and the others went round the lake.
I would have liked to have walked round the lake too, but we didn't have time, as lunch was also involved!
I now have a camera mainly full of flower pics, apart from a few, and a rather nice roof I took with my phone.
I must admit, though, the colours of some of the shrubs were rather fine! (extras)
