The poppy

When I got up at 7.15 am to make my cup of tea the first thing I spotted out of the kitchen window was this poppy, it had opened. I went straight outside and took photos, I hadn't even got my glasses on!!!!
A great journey down the motorway to Chris's. Am here for a few days. A great walk this afternoon down the canal with Julie, Chris and the dogs. It was hot and a welcome solero at the locks to cool us down before the great hike up the bridle path. My legs are aching now!!
