Wonderful day on the North Coast

Beautiful weather and stunning scenery. I’ve taken this trip before, as it takes me to my favourite places, and it attracts lovely people.

I’ve blipped the dramatic and beautiful North Coast views often, so I thought I’d give a glimpse of the wine growing area of Sao Vicente.

We had a gentle stroll through one of the wine growing areas after lunch. The grapes are grown by many smallholders and then they are taken to be made into the table wine by small enterprises. This year, the lovely family who make the Seical wines have won a second prize in an international competition.

On our way round, our driver Pedro rescued a kitten who was stuck on a roof.....
