Wedding Day....Number 1

Today was the marriage of my lovely daughter Emma and her partner Andy.  Held in Stratford at the registry office on Henley Street. It was a wonderful day, attended by families from both sides and a few close friends.  This was intended to be a low-key affair, the main celebrations, wedding number 2, to be held at a chateau near Bergerac, France next Saturday. There will be somewhat more people there, 70ish at the last count.

I took some photos, mainly trying for non posed pics, the formal photos are going to be taken by a professional next week.  This shot was taken as the two left the building to a liberal amount of thrown confetti.

We all went off to the RSC where we had coffee on the balcony of the Rooftop Restaurant,  followed by a meal in the private room inside. The celebrations then continued at the Falcon Hotel.

A wonderful day, ever to be treasured.
