crickets

tonight we had our traditional white elephant gift exchange and holiday gathering--we did it a day early since my cousin had to work on xmas eve and brian and i wanted to get on the road to Denver before the latest storm was set to move in.

a lot of food, drinks, and merriment. And a fun but low-key white elephant game almost no one stole gifts. However some of us (Rodney, Brian, Peter, Erik, Mike, Eric, Klara, & Me) helped Peter enjoy a part of his gift: bacon & cheddar crickets! crunchy, but didn't taste like much to me.

fun times. B& I head out to for Colorado early in the morning--here's hoping for a white christmas in denver!
