Roses round the window

At Inveresk Lodge Garden where J took me on a treat with a splendid picnic - for her 60th birthday! Maybe a bit the wrong way round, but never mind, we had a lovely time, and my treat to J is still to come. The day warmed up beautifully so my woolly hat and fleece weren't needed, in fact neither was my jacket.

Neither of us had been to the garden before, but would definitely go again. We weren't alone, other people clearly know about it too, but there was plenty of space for everyone without it feeling at all crowded.
