Traditions

On Christmas Eve, the grandkids gather at our house and reenact the Nativity, complete with costumes. The story of the Nativity is read from the Bible as the kids play the parts. Of course, me being an organist, it is accompanied by organ music softly in the background. Then, the kids are told a Christmas story. It's nothing fancy, and doesn't take very long, but does make Christmas Eve special to all. We have been doing this for about six or seven years now, and it has become a tradition.
