Swans again

We'll not be able to keep an eye on the family for the next 24 days while we're away so I thought it was fitting to capture all 7 cygents and their parents as they made their way down the lake, a proud flottila.

Woke up this morning with a sore and inflamed left foot which prompted me to go to the drop in surgery in case it was the start of cellulitis, which I've had three times before and wouldn't want while in America. Dr didn't think it was but prescribed a course of antibiotics to take with me.

Waiting to be seen took up most of the morning, preventing me from doing my packing. Then we prepared 5 different lunches for 5 people before going on a walk. By the time we got back it was off out again to the local pub for a meal. Just finished the packing now.

A few things to do tomorrow, may be water the allotment for the last time, get the library books extended and select a few menu ideas to take with us in the RV. We hope to call in somewhere between here and Heathrow to make a day of it. We're staying overnight at the Sofitel at Heathrow T5 so Sunday morning will be relaxed while we wait for the flight to Boston which departs at 11.15.
