Their life is too short

The ephemeral flowers catch my on the numerous guerrilla gardening sites around Kensal Green. I wonder how many people immediately think about the War dead when they see them. Fewer these days I think.

On a brighter note I'm off for an early dinner at the Zedel then 'The Starry Messenger' at The Wyndhams tonight. So I will be leaving my camera at home.
