Life from city to village

Huddersfield

Went across to Huddersfield to see my parents. Mum loves making a special lunch for each of her Grandchildren, I swear she spoils them rotten with food. Venison sausages and pork pie for my eldest, prawn cocktail, smoked salmon, mayonnaise and tomatoes for my daughter, and bacon rolls with lemon drizzle cake for my youngest.

But they like going over. My youngest helped Grandad fix the water pump for the pond (apparently Grandad's hands were too big to reach the wires), while my eldest helped sort a slow computer.

Paid a trip to the local oriental supermarket on the way back. Its one used by all the local restaurant owners, and is a great place to buy sauces and spices.
