Russborough House

to see ‘Art in The Garden’. A stunning display of sculpture in the grounds of the beautiful house. My blip is an original Salvador Dali ‘Lady Godiva with Butterfly’.

I took about 50 photos and I am pleased with most of them. Rather than use my dwindling number of extras, I tried to open a Flickr account. But it was so complicated that I just gave up.

So any Irish Blippers, if you get the chance, go to Russborough House and see this marvellous display. But be wary of the Maze. I got lost in the Greenan one when my daughter was 7 and I will never risk that again

I sat in The Walled Garden which is tended by volunteers and did a miniature painting of the herbayshis border but as it was drizzling rain, I lost control of the colours and it turned into a series of colourful dribbles down the canvas :-). (That’s not going in as an extra btw )

I have had a lovely day. A friend is coming to visit this evening and we will get takeaway and watch Groundhog Day (over and over again)
