The creche

The oyster catchers are back nesting again at the bowling green and tennis courts. As usual, they're using the gully along the edge of the green as a nice safe holding area for the kids :)

I'd heard they were there and went over this afternoon to get some pictures. I decided to take my 600mm mirror lens to try to get close-ups, but when I got there I discovered I'd picked up the wrong lens case - duh!! - so this is the best I could do with the 300mm.
