Medway

A gentle stroll a little way along the Medway from the marina on St Mary’s Island. We went down there for our Monthiversary meal (one day late) at the delicious Ship and Trades pub on the marina.

We had a gentle stroll (as opposed to a walk) beacause my ribs are still very painful and I get a bit breathless here and there.

One of the old dockyard cranes looks across the river to Upnor Castle on the far bank.
