London and beyond...

Up just after 5 to get the train to London, and down to QEII Centre for the ESRI User Conference. A good day with presentations and workshops and a chance to try out a few things and meet some old friends and a former pupil who is doing well, and teaching at University level. Nice food and then out into a warm afternoon, and train down to Petersfield and taxi out to my hotel for the evening. Walked down to Ashford Hangars, and paid my respect as always to the wartime poet Edward Thomas. Back to the pub for a nice evening meal and local ale, and did some work before watching some late TV and episode 3 of the stunning Chernobyl.
