Christmas In the Sounds

The Mistress headed to the Picton early this morning laden down with Christmas presents, salads, champagne, whitebait, Berries and Cherries. We were picked up from the public wharf and taken to a bach only accessible by boat. On the way we came across this huge cruise ship taking a wander up the sounds.

We circled around it, and then the cruise ship turned around and left, while we went to the bach, had champagne breakfast, a day on the jetty, and the Mistress had her first ever swim in the sea in the South Island. Cold but refreshing from the 30C heat.

I'ts now midnight and still 25C outside - hot and muggy.
