Manta's

Had a good nights sleep last night but still woke up full of snot. First dive was at Manta Sandy, a manta cleaning station where you get either mantas or sand, we got the latter. Dive didn’t start well as the outboard died on our inflatable on the way to the dive site. Managed to almost fall asleep underwater waiting for the mantas to arrive. After 30 minutes we gave up and headed along the channel leading to the cleaning station. Saw a few other fish and then in the last 10 minutes we have a small manta come up the channel in front of us. Great end to the dive. Second dive was on the same site as we only had one boat available. Again no mantas on the cleaning station so we headed out into the channel. This time we had a couple of small mantas come by. Got attacked by a pastel green wrasse fish as I was sitting too close to his house. Left the cleaning station and went along the channel then we saw another manta coming towards me. Settled down to wait for it but it got spooked by Richard who was almost attached to it taking photos  while swimming alongside in front of all the other divers. Bit of a sleep on the top deck after lunch. The crossing was pancake flat and we saw a breaching manta a couple of times. Third dive was at Tapokren, which was a muck diving site. 83 minute dive and not much to see for the first 60 minutes. A few cuttle fish and then J found a blue ring octopus. We had 5 minutes before anyone else turned up. Met up with some of the other dive guides and we then saw some gurnards and sea moths. Night dive was on the same site. Found some nice common seahorses for J and a long arm octopus. Also some baby clown fish. A very strange embarrassed crab, baby grey moray eel. Hermit, decorator and orangatang crabs and a couple robust ghost pipe fish at the end.
