National Trust Draw

There are around thirty-one National Trust ‘attractions’ in their small Cornwall guide. We wrote out the numbers on individual slips and placed them in a small tub and whenever Clare is off and the weather is good we draw out a number.
Today we drew Sandymouth in north Cornwall and as they are all close we decided to include Northmouth and Duckpool.
It was a delightful day with brunch en route at ’Nice Baps’ cafe.
What a glorious day, Clare, Gussie and I walked the Coastal Footpath, Sandymouth To Northmouth and back, very hilly but enjoyable.
Once back at Sandymouth we walked north aiming for Duckpool but after walking a steep upwards footpath for a couple of miles we found that following a short descent there was a steeper ascent to go.
Returning to Sandymouth for a coffee we drove to Duckpool - no ducks.
A quick stop in Bude for coffee we returned home tired.
