Thrift

Yesterday we arrived at Bedruthan Steps with a misty sky. I took some shots of the thrift which has been adding a wonderful dash of colour to the Cornish landscapes. In extras you can see it in situ with Rob doing an iphone shot. I did de-haze it in Lightroom so the view is a bit clearer than it was to our eyes. 
However once we had enjoyed a coffee and cake at the tea room the mist lifted and we had a much better view (second extra) and we even felt compelled to take the 120 steep steps down to the beach. After that we felt we had earned lunch at the tea room and an ice cream, with unexpected sunshine.
