THE HITCH HIKER.

Very wet and windy this morning, so had a lazy morning watching all the gardening programmes, then the constant rain cleared and we got wind, sun and showers. Thought there were only four cygnets as the family swam towards me, but as I started to feed them up popped a little head on mum's back. He just slid off and joined the others for food. What a relief.
A friend phoned to see if I wanted to go to a yoga class at lunchtime, so I went as the weather was not very good, however I am now hoping to get out for a while between showers to the garden.
Today it is 20 years of the reopening of the Forth and Clyde Canal, see extras, and the other extra is of some of the baby sparrows.
