Why not.

It was really warm. We planned to do this and that. Then thought - let’s go for a coffee to a place we know and watch the world go by. Our other favourite place is closed still, maybe next time.

We ended up talking with a couple who it transpired lived not 30 miles from our home. They had good tales to tell.

We walked further up the coast afterwards. Some lovely villas in great locations. If only I had money.

The afternoon finished back at the hotel watching a local construction company continue to rebuild the beach (damaged by winter storms) and reading our books. We were first down to dinner too.
