Patina

Today you have a rather more conventional than normal still life from me, mainly because I wanted to concentrate on the glorious patina that the skins of conference pears tend to have.  It took me a while to get this blip just how I wanted it, but I'm so glad I did because now I can eat them!

I haven't been out at all today, except for repotting herbs in the garden.  The next door neighbours who I thought were setting up for a BBQ were instead setting up with drills and hammers, so it hasn't been quiet.

Still very tired, but hoping to get out tomorrow.
