Still trying to relax..
We finally managed to wake up vaguely early, and had breakfast before the masses.
One last day to ourselves before the rest of the Frazers turn up in the evening for half term.
We walked through the town for the first time in proper daylight and it was very apparent that no one really does much before 11am.
We walked right to the harbour and carried on walking past the top of Corralejo - very pleasant but our first cloudy morning so quite chilly.
After much perusing of the volcanic rock looking for shells and crabs we casually walked back to the hotel for lunch.
Can’t even remember how we spent the rest of the time - must have been drinking , but we planned to visit the Rock cafe that evening, assuming that it would be busy for a Saturday and arriving at 5.30 to ensure a decent seat. I started with cocktails, continued with cocktails and finished with cocktails. A bit later we had food there too which was nice. My burger came with a whole goats cheese on top, slightly negating the salad I had with it in an attempt to be ‘good’
The live music was nice and the whole bar had a good vibe to it so I would be tempted to return.
I retired to bed whilst Rich found the newly deposited Frazers. Now we are seven. Heaven help the island....
