A heron, found posing as we crossed a pedestrian bridge in the grounds of Elvaston Castle near Draycott, Derbyshire.

This is the first time I have seen these blue insects and there were so many buzzing in clusters at St Chads Water nature reserve - I could have spent ages photographing them, but not possible when out walking with a non Blipper and a dog!
