We started the day with an 8am appointment at the GPs flu shots and a script. I hadn’t seen such early appointments before with a new doctor who we were trying out. I like my old GP but there is a wait for about a month to get an appointment with her. I asked how long the new GP had been there. No time...we were the first patients. He was very good so I’d be happy to see him again if needed.

We came home for a quick cuppa before driving to a funeral in Cowra. My old work mate Clarissa had lost her Dad. I caught up with half a dozen old friends but gee whiz, it was the coldest funeral. The temp was 2° on the way home and rain turned to snow (which we missed - good as we were driving). We did come across a traffic accident so had to detour along some rough country backroads.

That’s about the day in summary. Tonight we had leftovers for dinner and I’m doing some more squares for my new blanket. its keeping me warm as I make it.
