Lurking in the shadows

After a late night watching another disaster unfolding on the political scene I headed off to bed, but gave up trying to sleep at 2.30 a.m., turned on the light and read some more of Peter James's "Denial", which is pretty gruesome.

I think I must have dropped off some time after 3 a.m. and was woken around 8.30 a.m. by JJ asking if I wanted a cup of tea.

JJ is out washing the car and it's just started to rain.  Not sure whether that's exactly helpful.  Anyway my monitor needs calibrating so he may be pleased to come in and do that for me.

I think this fits the bill for the Mono Monday challenge of Shadows.
