Heavy rain drops

have made these lovely red Peonies droop!

Why is it that whenever we get blossom the rain and wind comes to blow it away and when the lovely peonies are in full bloom the same thing happens so the heads droop down. There are still some buds to open on this plant so maybe they will fare better and we have a pink flowering one that is just in bud at the moment.

There were sunny spells today, as when I took this shot but there have been some really heavy downpours. Typical Bank Holiday weather!

Still we had a good sing this morning. Going over our repertoire for the coming season up until preparing for Christmas. We sang 18 songs, really enjoyed it, I think there maybe a few more, he mentioned 20 but then 30, not sure if that was a joke!
