I noticed this beetle on a Daffodil leaf whilst I was relaxing down by the river this morning.   I think it's a Cardinal Beetle, so called because of the bright red colouring (apparently).
It was bright, sunny and warm this morning and I was able to do some more jobs in the garden, but it clouded over this afternoon and turned considerably cooler, I've put the heating on for a little while!!
