Just testing

Another eBay auction win ... I seem to have a nose for items with no bids and no-one following them. So my bid at the asking price carried the day, and I now have a 14-150 mm zoom lens for the Olympus. It may not be as great as my beloved 16-80 mm f2.8 Nikon lens, but it cost a heck of a lot less, and it's a big improvement on the kit lens.

We are both still stricken with colds. But I popped out in the late afternoon to try the lens out. Unfortunately this poppy field is pretty much over, and it was blowing a gale too, making close-ups impossible. But I still tried out different apertures and zooms. Seems to work :)
