The Robins Have Left the Shed

Another busy day. Painted the rest of the fence by the greenhouse... Only two more coats to go!

More planting at the allotment. Cabbages have gone into the new bed and have been made nice and cozy with some netting over new hoops. Recycled pipe and some brackets did the trick. Getting rather handy with the drill!

I'd noticed that the robin I photographed a couple of weekends ago wasn't around anymore. I checked inside the shed and found their nest tucked inside an old tray. They were obviously getting in through the gap at the top of the window and their little ones had now flown the nest. Amazing how delicate and carefully built the nest was.

Now they've gone I was able to happily fix the broken window.
