Back in the saddle

Managed to sleep really well (but I know jet lag usually kicks in for me a couple of days after I'm home so I'm not being smug!) and up at normal time.  Chatted with V for a while, catching up on the last two weeks, then down to some desk work before various meetings. All went well, interesting conversations, then over to a launch event, of course with cake!
Home to do some more catch up work then not too late a night. Pleased my throat feels better so fingers crossed that it was just a flight cold thing, and delighted to hear that my building warrant's been approved....roll on the work starting soon (I hope!)
