On the Rails
Annie spent the day doing past papers in preparation for her maths exam. I made the most of the fact it wasn't raining (despite what the forecast said) and got the lawn cut (it was overdue) and a few other jobs done. We had plenty of garden visitors this morning, one in the extras.
This afternoon I took a trip out to the disused Swanbourne railway station. I had a lovely chat with the guys who live in the building attached to the old station building. They've lived there since the days of steam! We talked about the history of the station and the line. It will in the future be back in use as part of the East West Rail Project although the station building will be demolished as part of the project. A few more shots from the track-bed here.
