Spirea Action

The spirea shrubs are in full bloom, and the bees are well aware.  A melittologist (yes, I had to look that word up) would have appreciated the large variety that were attracted to this pretty pink flower today.  Spireas are deer resistant, thrive in a sunny location, and bloom again after a mid-summer pruning.
