Today's plans were changed yesterday as A had had a nasty fall on Saturday and has broken her shoulder in two places. Ouch!

So at home I sent a long email composed last night, tidied the kitchen, painted the wall the cat had 'red wined', went to progress an outstanding matter and discovered an important document I'd forgotten I had so dealt with that, talked to my cousin and eventually did summer prep for tonight.

Tonight was better fun than normal although I felt inadequate.

Outside it's still cold and wet. But the blackbirds are loving it, although I'm not sure about the worms in the lawn. And I think they may be building a nest in the cotoneaster. Mmm, we'll see how that pans out.
