An Old Airman's Life

Infrastructure Crumbling

We have been hearing a lot about our roads and bridges falling apart. It is easy to ignore that so many of them were built a long time ago.  On our walk today, Buddy and I went a way we have never been before.  This corner of the bridge is only a block from my condo, and I can see it out my window.  In 1931, our building, the post office next door and this bridge/underpass were built.  The buildings seemed to have aged much better than this cement barrier.
